JAM IT NASHVILLE
Started as The Jam at the Commodore in April 2013 at Nashville's Commodore Grille in the Holiday Inn/Vanderbilt, the Jam evolved its format through rock/country/blues, through acoustic and, finally, as a popular jazz jam until the Commodore Grille went to an all-songwriter night format in January 2019. The Jam spent a few months at the new 6th and Peabody venue and at The Local and have found a home at the new Nashville venue, Fat Kat Slim's (at 730 8th Avenue South in the old Pour House building). Renamed JAM IT Nashville and going back to our original, all-inclusive format, the schedule is finally back to our traditional Tuesday night.
We start off the night with a Featured Guest who plays for about an hour. Then we open the night up to a Jam where we mix and match some great musicians from Nashville and beyond.
